Graham Makes Unexpected Statement: Talks with Hamas Won’t Halt War, Full-Scale Military Operation Planned Against Terrorists
Source: Renowned Senator Lindsey Graham has once again expressed his unwavering stance on the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas.
In his recent interview on CNBC’s Meet The Press, he emphasized that diplomatic efforts at this stage are unlikely to bring an end to the war.
According to Graham, negotiations with Hamas are futile because these groups are driven by religious nationalism and a form of extremist, Nazi-like ideology aimed at the total destruction of Israel.
Referencing former President Trump’s position, Graham pointed out that Israel has already realized that achieving a peace settlement on terms that ensure its security is impossible.
He further stated that Israel is preparing for a comprehensive military operation aimed at completely destroying Hamas.
"They will do in Gaza what we did during World War II in Tokyo and Berlin—capture these territories by force, then rebuild and create a better future for Palestinians, hoping that Arabs will take control of the West Bank and Gaza," Graham explained.
According to him, Israeli military forces are actively preparing for a large-scale campaign, and an imminent military offensive is expected.
Analysts believe this strategy might be the only way to put an end to the conflict permanently and prevent further escalation in the region.
