After a prolonged period of anticipation and intense diplomatic negotiations, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has finally taken a decisive step by signing important legislative initiatives that lay the foundation for a comprehensive reform of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) and the country's factoring services system.
These laws, signed after more than a month of waiting, open new opportunities for accessing international financial assistance and promote transparency within the public sector.
Zelensky announced this via his official Telegram channel, emphasizing that these laws play a crucial role in implementing strategic reforms agreed upon within the Ukraine Facility mechanism.
According to him, their adoption marks a significant milestone in boosting Ukraine's investment attractiveness and strengthening the trust of international partners.
The president also highlighted that progress in meeting reform indicators has been recognized by the European Commission, particularly by President Ursula von der Leyen, adding further weight to these decisions.
Moving forward, further improvements of these programs are expected, along with enhanced cooperation with international financial institutions aimed at stabilizing the economy and realizing ambitious modernization plans for the public sector.
