When Will Heating Be Turned On Throughout Ukraine: Official Statement from ‘Ukrenergo’
In Ukraine, the heating season is approaching, and government officials along with energy companies are announcing plans to activate heating across the nation.
According to Vitaliy Zaichenko, head of Ukrenergo, heating will be turned on in all residential buildings within the next ten days.
This measure aims to stabilize the energy system and reduce the load on power grids, especially considering the current high electricity consumption driven by the use of air conditioners and heaters.
Zaichenko urged Ukrainian citizens not to operate multiple energy-intensive devices simultaneously during peak hours to prevent blackouts and power outages.
Additionally, he mentioned that for industrial consumers, additional power restrictions are in effect from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM today, as part of a broader effort to conserve resources and maintain energy system stability.
Furthermore, the authorities in Lviv are already beginning to implement heating conservation measures, including reducing thermal loads on the city’s grid.
These steps are vital for lowering costs and supporting system balance during severe cold temperatures.
