Ukrainian government confirms fixed gas prices for citizens until 2026, according to Sviridenko

Chas Pravdy - 08 October 2025 22:26

The Ukrainian government made an important decision regarding natural gas prices for ordinary consumers and public institutions.

On Wednesday, October 8, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to keep the gas prices fixed until March 31, 2026.

This means that Ukrainians and government entities will be able to enjoy stabilized tariffs amid economic challenges and market fluctuations.

The news was announced by Prime Minister Julia Sviridenko via her Telegram channel, providing the public with crucial information.

According to her, special obligations have been imposed on natural gas market participants, limiting prices to ensure affordability: for households, the price remains at 7,420 UAH per 1,000 cubic meters (including VAT), while for budgetary institutions, the price is set at 16,390 UAH per 1,000 cubic meters with VAT.

This decision aims to stabilize the market and ensure affordable gas supply to the population during difficult economic times, while allowing government agencies to plan expenses based on fixed tariffs.
