Reducing Bureaucracy: Sviridenko Reveals Plans to Abolish Mandatory Acts of Work Completion Signing

In a time when Ukrainian businesses face numerous administrative hurdles and bureaucratic procedures, the government is moving towards significant reforms aimed at easing entrepreneurs’ operations.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, a new draft law is being prepared to eliminate the requirement of signing acts of completed work for cashless payments, which previously served as official proof of service receipt and work execution.
This initiative is driven by the desire to reduce administrative burdens and enhance the competitiveness of Ukrainian companies both domestically and internationally.Sviridenko emphasized that this measure could save Ukrainian businesses over 20 billion hryvnias annually.
She noted that the proposed bill not only simplifies documentation processes but also opens new opportunities for cooperation with European business partners.
Such an approach is particularly relevant amid current challenges and the ongoing connection between the state and business sectors.Beyond economic benefits, implementing these reforms will improve investment climate, increase export operations, and stimulate the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine.
These changes aim to create a more transparent, convenient, and modern business environment, capable of meeting contemporary international standards and promoting Ukrainian companies’ integration into European markets.
