Diya» App Introduces Medical Notifications to Enhance Patient Engagement
In the ongoing digital transformation of Ukrainian public services, the popular mobile application «Diya» continues to evolve, aiming to simplify the lives of its users, especially those involved with healthcare processes.
Already a key part of Ukraine’s e-governance ecosystem, the latest updates add a significant new feature: a system of medical notifications.
This development means that patients will now receive timely and relevant information related to their treatment and healthcare services directly on their smartphones.According to official statements from the developers, this feature allows users to get alerts about the creation of treatment plans, electronic prescriptions, prescription cancellations by doctors, and the issuance of electronic referrals.
To access these notifications, users simply need to have the «Diya» app installed on their smartphones and be logged into their accounts.
Once a doctor creates an electronic prescription or referral, a push notification will be sent, allowing users to quickly review the information and respond promptly. Moreover, all received medical notifications will be stored in the «Menu — Messages» section within the app, offering a centralized platform for users to keep track of their health-related communications.
If the app is not installed, notifications will still be delivered via SMS or Viber messages, ensuring that users do not miss any important updates.Developers also announce that the list of medical notifications will expand in the future, introducing new features and functionalities that will further streamline the interaction between patients and healthcare providers.
This initiative marks a significant step toward creating a more integrated, user-friendly, and modernized health information system in Ukraine, facilitating faster communication and increasing trust in digital government services.
