Free Dental Care for Eligible Ukrainians: Expanded List of Beneficiaries and New Opportunities
In Ukraine, the list of citizens eligible for free dental services continues to expand.
According to the National Social Service, the number of individuals entitled to such assistance has increased, representing a significant step in the social support system aimed at improving the quality of life for those in need of dental treatment without financial hardship.
The government has decided to broaden the categories of persons who can access free dental care, now including not only individuals released from captivity but also foreign military personnel and stateless persons serving under contract in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as intelligence personnel and National Guard members.
This initiative will allow more people to protect their health without incurring substantial costs.
Previously, the National Health Service of Ukraine simplified the process of locating medical facilities providing free prosthetic dentistry for veterans and combatants.
Overall, the state strives to make medical services more accessible for all who need them, especially for defenders of the country and veterans, for whom paying for dental care can be burdensome.
Additionally, Ukrainian servicemen and veterans now have the opportunity to receive hearing aids free of charge, which significantly contributes to their rehabilitation and improves their quality of life.
