Expected Rainfall and Cold Snap Across Ukraine: Forecast for October 29-30

In the coming days, Ukraine is forecasted to face significant weather changes characterized by showers and a drop in temperatures.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on October 29, most regions of the country, except for the southern areas, will experience light rain.

During the night, moderate snowfall is expected in Transcarpathia and the Carpathian Mountains, with light sleet and rain during the day.

Night temperatures will range from 2 to 7 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures between 8 and 13 degrees.

The southern regions and the Carpathians may see temperatures reaching up to 16 degrees.

In Kyiv, light rain is predicted during the day, with nighttime temperatures between 4 and 6 degrees, and daytime temperatures rising to 10-12.

By October 30, the weather is expected to stabilize, with no significant precipitation expected across Ukraine, except for some western areas where light rain may occur.

Wind will predominantly be from the south at 7 to 12 m/s, with gusts in the Carpathians reaching 17-22 m/s.

Temperatures will remain cool, with night temperatures between 2 and 7 degrees, and daytime temperatures from 10 to 15 degrees.

In western regions and the south, temperatures could reach 18 degrees during the day.

Observations show that the highest daytime temperature in Kyiv on October 29 was +22.4°C, while the lowest temperature recorded at night was -10.3°C in 1920.
