Plan Your Weekend: Warm Weather Coming in Early Next Week
After the sharp cooling experienced in October, Ukrainians can expect an unexpected rise in temperatures at the beginning of the upcoming week.
Meteorologists forecast that the significant drop in temperatures, which mainly affected western regions, will give way to warmth and more comfortable weather conditions.
According to Ihor Kibalchich, Ukraine’s chief meteorologist, Monday will see temperatures dropping below zero at night, with daytime temperatures reaching around +2°C.
However, by midweek, the gloomy, humid weather will be replaced by favorable atmospheric conditions – warm and moist air masses originating from the south and southwest of Europe will flow into Ukraine.
This shift will activate cyclone activity and fronts, resulting in intense rains across most parts of the country towards the end of the week.
Temperatures will rebound by 4-6°C, with the highest readings expected in southern regions and Transcarpathia, where air temperatures may rise to +20°C.
The forecast also indicates variable weather with fog, especially during the night and morning hours, which could disrupt traffic and require caution from drivers and pedestrians alike.
As the weather gradually stabilizes, Ukrainians will have the opportunity to enjoy warm and pleasant conditions over the weekend with comfortable temperature levels.
