Russian Drone Strikes on Kharkiv: Consequences and New Attacks

On the evening of October 5, the city of Kharkiv once again fell under attack by Russian forces using unmanned aerial vehicles.

Local authorities reported that as a result of this strike, four residents sustained injuries, with a 63-year-old man seeking medical assistance.

Oleksiy Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, stated that preliminary data indicate three individuals experienced acute stress reactions due to the drone attack, leading to their hospitalization.

Around 10:49 pm, explosions were reported in the Novobavarsky district, with the strikes hitting the city’s outskirts.

Authorities confirmed that private residential buildings were damaged during the attack.

Later, another strike was recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi district, with the aftermath still being clarified.

Additionally, in the early hours, explosions were heard in the Kyiv region at approximately 1:30 am — reports indicate air defense systems intercepted hostile drones, demonstrating ongoing activity by enemy forces in the area.
