Defense Forces Strike Strategic Targets in Russia and Occupied Crimea Overnight

On the night of October 6th, Ukrainian defense forces executed extensive and targeted strikes against several strategic infrastructure objects located within the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied Crimea, effectively destroying critical facilities and undermining the aggressor’s military capabilities.
These air and missile attacks aimed to reduce the offensive potential of the enemy and complicate his ability to carry out missile and bomb strikes.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the strikes hit a fireworks and ammunition manufacturing plant in the Nizhny Novgorod region, as well as a key oil terminal in Crimea, which plays a vital role in supplying resources to occupiers.
It is noted that the plant in Russia is one of the country’s largest producers of explosives, capable of supplying all types of munitions, from artillery shells to missile warheads.
The attack resulted in significant explosions and fires, hampering the plant’s operations and damaging the enemy’s military stockpiles.
Ukrainian forces also targeted airports, oil transfer terminals, and military facilities in Feodosia, including ammunition depots belonging to the 18th Army of the Russian Federation.
Strikes on the oil terminal destroyed large storage tanks, previously bombed multiple times, with several tanks completely burnt, leading to extensive fires that took over a week to extinguish.
This oil terminal is among the largest in Crimea and is crucial for fueling occupying forces on the peninsula.
The details of the damage to Russian military personnel are still being clarified, but it is clear that Ukrainian defenders continue to effectively dismantle logistical and military infrastructure, weakening enemy positions in occupied territories and within Russia itself.
Ukraine remains committed to halting military aggression and forcing Russia to reconsider its strategic policies.
