Following the recent large-scale attack by Russian forces on the city of Kharkiv, extensive fires broke out, and significant damage to infrastructure and residential objects was recorded.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, on October 5, the enemy carried out another series of drone strikes, resulting in numerous consequences for local residents and the city’s infrastructure.Rescue workers reported that in the Novobavarsky district, fires erupted, damaging several buildings, including infrastructure facilities, leading to destruction and temporary district isolation.
Additionally, in the Shevchenkivskyi district, a vehicle caught fire after being hit by a drone.
Overall, private houses, warehouses, garages, and several passenger cars were damaged during the attack.
Preliminary reports suggest at least four people were injured.
Emergency services, medics, and demining teams worked around the clock to eliminate the consequences of the strikes and prevent further dangers.
It is worth noting that earlier yesterday at around 10:40 PM, during one of the attack waves, Kharkiv again experienced loud explosions — enemy drones targeted the city, launching at least 16 strikes during the attack period, causing panic among residents and widespread infrastructure damage.
