Cherniev Reveals Ukraine’s Military Capabilities: Over 1000 km Range and Cutting-Edge Developments
Yegor Cherniev, head of Ukraine’s delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and a member of parliament, made a significant statement about Ukraine’s military potential.
He emphasized that Ukraine is equipped not only with the ‘Flamingo’ missiles capable of striking targets beyond 1000 kilometers but also with a broad array of modern weaponry allowing for long-range strikes.
In an interview with ‘Espresso’, he highlighted that Ukraine already possesses numerous domestically developed weapons capable of reaching such distances, including cruise missiles like ‘Palyanytsia’, ‘Peklo’, ‘Nautilus’, and potentially the ballistic missile ‘Sapsan.’ Cherniev pointed out that these various weapons have different purposes and specific features.
He also reminded of drones capable of missile strikes—Ukraine manufactures several dozen of such drone-missiles, executing deep strikes on Russian territory, penetrating air defense systems, and carrying significant payloads.
He stressed that Ukraine’s industries use innovative and flexible solutions to produce this high-tech weaponry, strengthening the country’s defense capabilities.
Additionally, Denmark plans to ignore more than 20 laws and regulations to build a new fuel plant for the ‘Flamingo’ missile.
This indicates Ukraine’s serious intentions to modernize its military arsenal and expand its offensive capabilities.
President Zelensky also revealed that recently, Ukraine has been employing not only domestically produced drones but also other types of weapons in combat, promising to disclose further details soon.
