Ukrainian Defenders Strike Russian Positions in Kursk Region
Ukrainian defenders demonstrated exceptional skill and determination by successfully targeting key military positions within Russia, particularly in the Kursk region.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the ‘Steel Border’ unit utilized drones to deliver high-precision strikes against Russian soldiers’ positions.
As a result, at least five Russian infantrymen were eliminated, with two more wounded, and enemy shelters established within the region were destroyed.
Representatives of the State Border Guard stressed that FPV drone operators from the ‘Steel Border’ brigade are actively engaged in defensive operations, preventing the enemy from gaining any respite and maintaining control over the Kursk sector.
These actions highlight the tactical proficiency of Ukrainian military forces, who continue to inflict significant damage on the adversary, demonstrating their readiness to defend their homeland even beyond its borders.
Since the start of the Kursk operation, Russian losses have been substantial: over 77,000 soldiers killed or wounded, including nearly 4,000 North Korean nationals, according to Ukrainian military leadership.
These developments indicate an ongoing escalation of hostilities with increasing costs for the aggressor.
