The most massive Russian missile strike on Lviv region during the war: nearly the entire family perished

On the night of Sunday, October 5th, Russian occupying forces launched the largest missile and drone attacks of the entire war against the Lviv region, causing extensive destruction and human casualties.
The most devastating strike hit the suburb of Lviv, in the village of Lapaivka, where an attack on a residential building resulted in the death of almost an entire family — four people, including a 15-year-old girl.
Another family member and two neighbors sustained injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized, according to the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office’s Telegram channel.
Several other individuals received first aid at the scene.
The attack also damaged several industrial and energy facilities in the city and region, leading to significant smoke and infrastructure destruction.
Additionally, there are reports of missile and drone attacks on Ivano-Frankivsk region, resulting in fires and destruction.
A fire still rages in the Sparrow industrial park.
In Lviv, heavy smoke is present after the strikes.
Recall that in September last year, Russian troops killed three girls and one woman in Lviv — Emilia, Daryna, Yaryna, and Eugenia Bazilevich.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that in the past 24 hours, Russia launched over 50 missiles and nearly 500 kamikaze drones across Ukraine, highlighting the scale and brutality of these attacks.
