Hordes of ‘Kinzhals’ heading for Kyiv: an intensified threat from hypersonic missiles

On October 5th, early in the morning, Ukraine’s Air Forces issued an urgent warning about a potential new wave of missile strikes targeting the capital.

At 6:30 AM, they reported the possible launch of hypersonic missiles ‘Kinzhals’, which could mark an escalation in enemy offensive operations.

Just minutes earlier, at 6:29, it was announced that these missiles had entered Ukrainian airspace through Sumy region, increasing concern and tension.

The subsequent targets included territories in Zhytomyr region, then Rivne, Dubno, and Lviv.

By 6:33, the Air Forces again alerted about dangerous skies over Lviv, emphasizing the high likelihood of new strikes.

This situation highlights the growing aggression of the enemy and underscores the urgent need for strengthened defense and heightened readiness of Ukrainian military forces defending the country.
