Frontline Update: Ukrainian Forces Make Advances on Two Critical Directions
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, provided an assessment of the current frontline situation, highlighting significant developments on two of the most intense sectors – the Lyman and Dobropillia directions.
According to Syrskyi, Ukrainian units have managed to stabilize the situation near the Lyman front, while on the Dobropillia sector, Ukrainian troops continue active efforts to strike the enemy’s logistical hubs and disrupt their concentration.
Syrskyi emphasized that the situation in the Yampil area on the Lyman line is now under control, with special operations units, ground forces, and National Guard soldiers conducting targeted reconnaissance and strike missions to detect and neutralize remaining enemy sabotage groups hiding in the area.
Over the past day, Ukrainian forces inflicted losses of 47 enemy personnel, with 32 confirmed killed permanently.
Since the start of the counteroffensive, Ukrainian units have reportedly destroyed approximately 1,988 enemy personnel and over 990 pieces of enemy equipment and weapons.
These figures reflect a comprehensive approach to dismantling enemy logistics and supply chains.
Syrskyi also noted that military command at various levels continuously monitors the operational situation and considers new strategies to enhance the efficiency of Ukrainian units’ actions.
Previously, Ukrainian forces liberated a village in one of the most heated sectors of the front and continue to eliminate Russian soldiers encircled near Dobropillia, although the situation remains complex due to ongoing reinforcements from Russian troops.
