Russian Massive Strikes Leave Dozens of Ukrainian Settlements Without Electricity and Water
Recent large-scale attacks by Russian forces have caused widespread destruction across Ukraine, particularly affecting the energy sector.
According to local authorities, due to night and morning shelling, over 38 settlements in the Shostka community lost electricity and water supply.
The mayor of the city, Mykola Noga, reported that Russian troops carried out an airstrike on the community’s territory, damaging energy infrastructure facilities.
Despite these damages, hospitals are operating on backup generators, and water supply has been maintained through alternative energy sources.
Emergency repair crews are currently working to restore damaged networks.
The shelling continues and has inflicted yet another blow on the community, with the mayor urging residents to stay safe amidst ongoing attacks.
