Russian Attacks on Poltava: Strikes on Energy Infrastructure and Impact on Civilians

On the night of October 2nd to 3rd, Russian forces launched a massive combined missile and drone attack on several objects in the Poltava region, causing significant damage to energy infrastructure and disrupting regional utilities.
According to the Poltava Regional Military Administration, the attacks involved missile strikes and drone deployments resulting in debris falls across various locations, damaging private homes and vital energy facilities.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
Additionally, a Russian drone hit a civilian hostel in Poltava, creating panic and further destruction.
The assault led to the complete suspension of public transport and street lighting due to the damaged power networks.
Earlier that day, explosions also rocked Odessa, caused by Russian missile strikes, highlighting ongoing aggression against Ukrainian cities.
