President Zelensky Again Calls for Meeting with the ‘Servant of the People’ Faction: Key Personnel and Support Issues

Recent reports indicate that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is once again initiating a gathering of the ‘Servant of the People’ parliamentary faction.
Although the exact date remains undisclosed, it is expected that the meeting will take place as early as next week, likely on Tuesday or Thursday, during the Verkhovna Rada session.
This information was shared by Yaroslav Zeleznyak, a deputy from the ‘Hoz’ faction, who noted that currently all deputies are being asked to submit their questions to the president in advance to prepare for the discussions.
This marks the first instance in months where the president personally insists on convening such a meeting, unlike previous occasions when it was a request from deputies.
Zelensky’s decision to gather his party’s members twice within four weeks signifies an unusual move aimed at demonstrating support for himself and reaffirming party unity, especially following negative media coverage of previous meetings.
The specific agenda items remain undecided, but speculations suggest discussions could revolve around personnel changes, budget issues, and deputies’ activity.
There is also a possibility that the number of votes in favor of decisions will remain unchanged, as some deputies may avoid publicly voicing criticism.
Earlier media reports indicated that Zelensky criticized deputies during a closed session on September 16, addressing issues such as corruption and expressing his intention to run in future elections.
Some parliament members feel the current situation raises concerns over increased control measures and political stability.
