Ukrainian Special Forces eliminate collaborator Vladimir Leontiev: details and implications
In the early morning hours, Ukrainian drones carried out a precise strike on the vehicle of collaborator and occupation administrator Vladimir Leontiev in the occupied part of Kherson region.
According to local authorities, this operation was the result of extensive efforts by Ukrainian forces and intelligence agencies aimed at neutralizing individuals who facilitate occupation and regional destabilization.
Leontiev, appointed as the so-called head of Nova Kakhovka in April 2022, was known as a loyal supporter of the occupation authorities.
He faces multiple accusations, including involvement in the kidnapping of journalist Oleg Baturin and the abduction of Berislav mayor Oleksandr Shapovalov.
The tragic death at the scene confirms the effectiveness of modern Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, specifically the drone known as ‘Baba Yaga,’ which authorities say was used as the instrument to eliminate the traitor.
Leontiev was 61 years old.
Military experts emphasize that the elimination of collaborators is a crucial step in the fight for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and independence.
