Denmark’s Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, recently made a striking statement emphasizing that Europe is currently facing its most serious crisis since the end of World War II.

According to her, European countries are under significant threat due to escalating military conflicts and attempts at destabilization by Russia.

She highlighted that the war in Ukraine constitutes the most critical crisis in modern Europe, urging leaders to unite and formulate a collective response to these challenges.

At the same time, Frederiksen commented on the use of unmanned drones, expressing support for their interception but stressing the importance of doing so properly and responsibly.

She further pointed out that Russia remains the primary threat to the region, advocating for enhanced defense measures, including security discussions, deterrence strategies, and support for Ukraine.

She also warned that this hybrid war threat could extend to other European countries — Poland, Denmark, and beyond — emphasizing the need for a strong and coordinated response.

Previously, she stressed that NATO should intensify its reaction to Russia’s hybrid warfare, which she considers just the beginning.

The strategy should comprehensively address all facets of military and informational escalation, given the ongoing conflict.
