Ukrainian Forces Hold Firm Against Russian Advances in Dnipropetrovsk Region
Intense combat continues in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where Ukrainian defenders are fiercely resisting Russian forces in the area around the village of Filia.
According to the Ukrainian information portal DeepState, which recently updated its interactive maps, Russian troops maintain continuous fire control over a critical forested area located south of the village.
Fierce clashes are ongoing as the enemy attempts to draw Ukrainian troops into the woods, secure positions there, and eventually push towards local settlements.
Military analysts report that Russian forces are employing all available resources to stall the Ukrainian defenses — from heavy shelling to setting traps and deploying drones for reconnaissance and strikes.
Ukrainian units, including the 46th Brigade, conduct ongoing clearance operations, utilizing tactical maneuvers and actively tracking enemy movements with drones.
The battlefield extends beyond the forest into the broader front line, complicating Ukrainian military operations.
Recently, the enemy suffered significant losses in the Filia area and near Dачне, trying unsuccessfully to break through Ukrainian lines and occupy new territories.
Currently, Russian forces are regrouping and shifting their focus towards the village of Ivanivka, where they have already reached the eastern outskirts.
Reports also indicate Russian advances near Kalynivske, a settlement south of Filia, further escalating tensions in this critical strategic region.
