Ukrainian Armed Forces Regain Positions in Two Regions, ISW Reports
The Ukrainian military has successfully advanced to retake previously lost positions in two critical regions of the country: in the northern part of Sumy region and in the western areas of Zaporizhzhia region.
According to the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), in its latest report based on geolocation video analysis, it is confirmed that Ukrainian forces reclaimed positions northeast of the village of Kindrativka.
Additionally, Russian military bloggers claimed that Ukrainian troops counterattacked near the settlement of Andriyivka.
As of September 27, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that Ukrainian defenders repelled six Russian assault attempts on the northern-slobozhansky and Kursk directions.
Meanwhile, in southwestern Zaporizhzhia, on the Orikhiv front, the command stated that the enemy is not conducting offensive operations at this time.
Analysts note that Russian forces have made advances in three regions: Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk.
However, recent geolocation footage shows that Ukrainian troops have recently regained control south of Malaya Tokmachka, demonstrating active defensive and counteroffensive tactics.
Ukrainian military officials strongly deny Russian propaganda claims of success in the settlement of Yampol in Donetsk region.
