Trump authorizes long-range strikes against Russia: US military to obey — Expert
Former US President Donald Trump publicly expressed support for the idea of conducting long-range strikes against Russia, sparking widespread discussion among military and political circles.
According to Kitt Kellogg, a special envoy of the White House on Ukraine issues, his statements have been interpreted as an instruction for the Pentagon to carry out orders from the president regarding potential strikes on Russian targets from long distances.
In an interview with Fox News, Kellogg emphasized that all decision-making regarding such actions depends on the supreme leader’s will, and there are no formal restrictions or limitations on deploying long-distance tactics.
Although the US military leadership had previously refrained from granting Ukraine the ability to conduct such strikes, the expert claims that now, military forces are obliged to follow the president’s instructions.
Interestingly, Trump is currently considering the possibility of supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons, specifically Tomahawk missiles, which could dramatically shift the regional power balance.
