The data for sick leaves are automatically transferred to the electronic registry based on medical conclusions that are uploaded into the health care system, and the sick leave itself is generated in the registry based on this information and data about the insured person from the state register.
An important aspect is the identification of the individual since, when forming an electronic sick leave, the primary place of employment of the insured individual is taken into account, determined from the employment notification.
The received electronic sick leave is automatically sent to the insurers with whom the employee has labor or part-time relationships via a dedicated online portal of the Pension Fund.
This development enables significantly increased efficiency in medical institutions’ operations and helps eliminate bureaucratic delays in processing incapacity benefits.
