Chas Pravdy - 28 September 2025 07:23

In the wake of the missile strike that occurred on September 28, targeting Ukrainian infrastructure, Poland swiftly activated its air forces to ensure national security.

According to the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces (RSZ), in response to the aerial threat, Polish fighter jets were scrambled into the air for situational monitoring.

The statement also emphasizes that allied aircraft operated in coordination with Polish forces, highlighting a unified military response.

RSZ officials mentioned that all available resources and units were mobilized in accordance with established protocols, including the deployment of fighter aircraft patrols and an increased alert level for ground-based anti-aircraft systems and radar stations.

These measures, described as preventative, aim to safeguard Polish airspace and protect citizens, especially in areas considered to be under heightened threat.

Such actions underscore Poland’s serious military readiness and determination to prevent any potential threats from the skies.
