Orbán accuses the EU of turning into a military project against Russia
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has once again expressed concern over the increasing military tension within the European Union.
According to him, the current policy course in Brussels is resembling the transformation of the EU into a military alliance aimed against Russia.
He explicitly stated that in Brussels, publicly, there are plans to defeat Russia in the East by 2030.
“Every European, every company, and every EU member state are meant to serve this goal.
We Hungarians do not support this course and oppose it!” — he emphasized.
Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry responded to this statement, recalling that earlier, the ministry had expressed its stance regarding Hungary’s proposal to cede parts of territory for peace.
Previously, Orbán criticized U.S.
demands to stop purchasing Russian energy resources, stating that the refusal to buy Russian oil and gas supplied through pipelines has significantly damaged his country’s economy and caused substantial difficulties.
