Russian Drones Strike Critical Infrastructure in Vinnytsia Region: Nighttime Attack and Its Aftermath

On the night of September 27, the Vinnytsia region once again became the target of drone attacks, causing damage to vital infrastructure facilities.

According to Natalya Zabolotna, the First Deputy Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) infiltrated the region, executing targeted strikes against strategic objects.

As a result, parts of the city were left without power, railway traffic was halted, and air raid alerts were issued in the districts.The Air Forces of Ukraine continuously monitored the situation, tracking drones heading westward over the region.

Elevated alert levels were reported in the Haisynskyi and Tulchynskyi districts, where air raid sirens blared from 11:15 PM to 11:31 PM on September 26.

By approximately 1:00 AM on September 27, alerts were lifted, and normal operations resumed.Local monitoring sources reported loud explosions in the Tulchynskyi district, linked to the night attack.

Earlier, on September 26, Russian forces launched at least two strikes on Zaporizhzhia, damaging civilian infrastructure and destroying a store.

These attacks highlight the ongoing danger faced by civilians in the region and underscore the importance of strengthening defense measures and preparedness for future threats.Overall, the situation in Vinnytsia remains tense, with continued threats of further attacks.

Authorities urge residents to stay vigilant, adhere to safety protocols, and cooperate with defense agencies to respond quickly to emergencies, ensuring community safety amidst ongoing military actions.
