Russian Drone Attack Sparks New Wave of Destruction and Injuries in Kharkiv Region: Details and Consequences
New details have emerged regarding the recent consequences of attacks carried out by Russian forces in the Kharkiv region.
On the morning of September 26, an incident involving an FPV drone occurred in the Kupiansk district, where the drone struck near a police vehicle.
As a result, four law enforcement officers sustained injuries and trauma, raising serious concerns over regional security and stability.
This incident has been confirmed by official sources, including the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office via Telegram.
Equally alarming is the situation in the Chuhuiv district, where on the same day, around 4:50 pm, Russian armed forces launched an airstrike on the village of Bilyi Kolodiaz.
Local residents report that at least ten residential buildings were damaged, with casualties including a 60-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman who were injured.
Additionally, later that day, Russian troops launched further strikes on critical infrastructure in the area, damaging vital civilian facilities and causing destruction to residential structures.
According to military and law enforcement reports, these actions are classified as war crimes under Article 438 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, and an investigation has been initiated.
Furthermore, it is important to note that earlier that day, Russian forces carried out at least two airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, damaging civilian infrastructure and partially destroying a store building, resulting in panic and additional destruction in the city.
