Escalation of Conflict in Donetsk and Kherson Regions: Over 20 Civilians Injured in One Day

As of September 26, the situation in Donetsk and Kherson regions remains critically tense due to ongoing hostilities and unprecedented shelling incidents.

According to official reports from local authorities, Russian forces carried out severe strikes on civilian infrastructure and residential areas, leading to a significant increase in civilian casualties.

In the Donetsk region, two civilians were killed, and more than 20 others received injuries.

Multiple settlements experienced damage, with incidents reported in cities like Kostiantynivka, where one local resident was killed and nine others wounded.

During the past day, several residential buildings and infrastructure objects were damaged or destroyed: five multi-storey buildings and over ninety private houses.

Meanwhile, in the neighboring Kherson region, one person lost their life, and 12 others were injured due to Russian attacks targeting residential and critical infrastructure.

The enemy deliberately shelling populated areas and social facilities, damaging dozens of private homes and several multi-storey buildings.

Authorities continue to oversee evacuations and provide assistance to those affected, but the exact number of damages and casualties is still being updated daily.

The overall security situation remains very fragile, with ongoing tensions escalating the humanitarian crisis in these regions.
