Zelenskyy Orders Investigation into Incidents of Hungarian Drones Entering Ukrainian Airspace
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he received information from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi regarding recent cases of drones entering Ukrainian airspace from Hungary.
According to the head of state, military officials recorded reconnaissance drones, which were verified to cross the border and operate in the eastern region of the country.
Zelenskyy emphasized that this information must be thoroughly verified, and appropriate measures should be taken to protect the country’s borders from such actions and potential provocations.
He instructed the defense command to carry out additional intelligence and technical checks and to urgently report all recorded drone intrusion incidents, aiming to prevent any provocations and ensure national security.
