Ukrainian Armed Forces Achieve Significant Gains in Dnipropetrovsk Region: Reality vs. Russian Fabrications
The Ukrainian armed forces are actively advancing and strengthening their positions in the Dnipropetrovsk region despite numerous attempts by Russian troops to regain lost ground and create an illusion of success.
The latest geolocation data provided by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) confirms tangible Ukrainian victories in this strategically important area.
According to analysts, between September 20 and 24, Ukrainian units pushed into the central part of the village of Sichneve in the Velykomykhailivka community within the Synelnykivsky district.
This breakthrough was achieved through persistent combat operations and tactical proficiency, consolidating Ukrainian gains in the area.
Meanwhile, Russian sources circulated videos from September 24 showing Russian forces striking the central part of the village of Filia, which contradicts their previous claims of advancing in this region and indicates an ongoing effort to spin the narrative of victory.
The Ukrainian General Staff reported that on the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk fronts, Russian occupiers seized control of two villages, but Ukrainian troops continue to hold their positions firmly.
Notably, on the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 26 enemy attacks aimed at breaking through defenses near settlements such as Ivanivka, Yalta, Myrne, Sichneve, Tolstoy, Voskresenka, Sosnivka, Novomykolaivka, and Novohryhorivka.
The control over areas near Berezove remains a tense point: recent advances by Russian forces close to this village near Donetsk have not compromised Ukrainian military resilience, which continues to inflict heavy losses on the enemy.
Despite Moscow’s efforts to create a facade of victories, the real achievements of Ukrainian troops highlight ongoing stability and strategic progress in key directions.
