Ukraine Prepares for Major International Drone Export Launch in 2024
Ukraine is actively advancing its revolutionary development in the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) industry.
According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, the country has made significant breakthroughs in producing its own drones and will soon begin exporting these technologies to international markets.
The head of state revealed that Ukraine’s drone manufacturing sector now encompasses over 300 companies, including approximately 30 major players capable of competing on the global stage.
Zelensky emphasized that new platforms for technology export will be launched this year, targeting markets in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and potentially Africa.
This strategic move aims to attract vital financial resources for expanding drone production, including long-range models designed for missions over vast distances.
Additionally, Ukraine has received positive signals of support from the U.S.
administration regarding further reinforcement of its air defense systems.
Previously, Zelensky stated that Ukrainian drones can now fly at distances up to two or three thousand kilometers, significantly enhancing the country’s defensive and offensive capabilities.
A notable achievement is the deployment of maritime drones that forced the Russian fleet to retreat into distant bays, freeing strategic waters and asserting Ukraine’s technological independence and military strategic autonomy.
These developments underscore Ukraine’s growing prowess in unmanned technology and its determination to establish itself as a leading player in the global drone industry.
