On one of the key sectors of the front line, Ukrainian defenders are experiencing significant pressure from Russian forces attempting to penetrate deeper into Ukraine’s defensive lines.

From the eastern outskirts of the village of Dronivka in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region, Russian troops have been observed making attempts to go further into Ukrainian-controlled territory.

This information was revealed through recent data updates and interactive maps provided by the Ukrainian analytical resource DeepState.

According to reports, the front line on the Severysk direction remains tense as of September 23, with Russian troops continuing to leverage their numerical superiority.

They employ tactics of infiltration, trying to establish footholds and increase their presence in the region, aiming for territorial control.

Recent drone strikes have confirmed Ukrainian efforts to counter these incursions: footage from drone attacks shows the destruction of some attacking groups, although military experts warn that new infiltrators will likely attempt to break through again soon.

Ukrainian military units are actively deploying drone strikes and other modern tactics to disrupt the enemy’s advances and destroy their attacking units.

The General Staff of Ukraine reports that on the Severysk sector, the enemy has attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses seven times in regions including Serebryanka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Dronivka, and Yampol.

Additionally, Russian forces are increasing their assault near Siversk, engaging large units of infantry in an effort to break through Ukrainian positions.

Ukrainian soldiers are doing everything possible to maintain control over these critical areas, utilizing advanced drone systems and tactical maneuvers that help repel attacks, reduce enemy superiority, and safeguard strategic positions.

The fight for this sector remains among the most intense, with the situation dynamic and tense, requiring coordinated efforts and continuous monitoring by Ukrainian defenses.
