Experience and Duration: What Retirement Could Look Like After 30 Years of Employment

In Ukraine, questions concerning pension amounts and eligibility criteria are crucial for millions of citizens, especially those with extensive work history who are approaching retirement age.
According to data from the Ministry of Social Policy and the Pension Fund, the country’s requirements for insurance стаж are increasing each year, affecting entitlement and benefit size.
Individuals with 30 years of work experience and an income of around 10,000 UAH can expect certain pension benefits based on their age and accumulated стаж.
Specifically, to retire in 2025, one needs to achieve 32 years of стаж by age 60, 22 years стаж by 63, and 15 years before reaching 65.
This means that with a стаж of 30 years, Ukrainian citizens who meet the current legal criteria will be able to receive a pension amounting to approximately 3,878 UAH at age 63, and over 4,200 UAH at age 65.
The pension calculator provides a more precise estimate of future payments considering individual стаж and income levels.
It is also important to note that employers annually submit mandatory reports detailing employment records for стаж verification.
Additionally, the State Employment Service recently announced the possibility of early пенсія, while lawyer Olga Brus has explained how long Ukrainians need to work to qualify for a pension in Germany—valuable information for migrants and those planning to move abroad for work or other reasons.
