Poland Launches New Center for Implementing Ukrainian Combat Experience as Part of Defense Enhancement Efforts
The Polish Minister of Defense, Waldemar Szymański, recently announced the initiation of a comprehensive project aimed at integrating advanced Ukrainian combat practices into the Polish armed forces.
During a major conference focused on strengthening national defense capabilities, he revealed plans to establish a specialized center dedicated to adapting and utilizing Ukrainian military expertise.
According to him, Ukraine’s drone industry development is impressive and warrants attention, serving as a foundation for incorporating these technologies into the Polish military arsenal.
Furthermore, the minister mentioned the creation of a NATO structure — the NATO Analysis, Training, and Education Center — Ukraine, which will focus on spreading Ukrainian military experience across the Alliance.
He also noted the ongoing procurement of modern surface and underwater drone systems, a topic he discussed in detail with Ukrainian colleague Denys Shmyhal during his recent visit to Kyiv.
Additionally, there are plans to establish a national center focused on embedding Ukrainian military experience into everyday defense practices, although further details remain undisclosed.
