Night attacks and strikes by Russian forces: casualties in Kharkiv, Kramatorsk and Nikopol
From the night of September 23 to 24, Ukrainian cities faced severe assaults by Russian troops, resulting in significant destruction and injuries.
The enemy utilized a variety of weapons, including drones, aircraft bombs, and artillery, to target Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, and Nikopol regions.
In Kharkiv, Russian forces launched 18 drones, causing damage to residential buildings and wounding four individuals.
The attacks particularly affected the Holodnogirskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, with a mix of combat drones, Kornet anti-tank missiles, and kamikaze drones “Geran-2” and FPV drones.
Kramatorsk was also hit multiple times by drones; one strike damaged a multi-storey apartment building and caused a fire, though no casualties were reported.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian artillery and drones shelled the Nikopol district, damaging a five-story residential building, vehicles, and power lines.
In Synelnykove district, a drone hit a small community in Malomykhailivska, igniting a fire.
These attacks followed a massive drone assault on Kharkiv the evening of September 23, highlighting the tense security situation in the region.
