Zelensky on Trump: A New Level of Trust and Changing Relations
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a surprising statement regarding his relationship with former U.S.
President Donald Trump.
According to the Ukrainian leader, he now senses a much higher level of trust from Trump, as the former American president has come to realize that information provided by the Kremlin respondents was distorted or false.
This realization followed their meeting, which Zelensky described as ‘very constructive and significant.’Zelensky noted that during the negotiations, Trump gradually became convinced that Moscow was providing him with unreliable data.
He emphasized that now, Trump trusts both him and Ukraine’s intelligence agencies far more because he has access to more accurate information about the battlefield.
Additionally, Zelensky highlighted that Trump agrees with the view that Russia is actively trying to extend its influence beyond Ukraine.The Ukrainian leader also pointed out that during their dialogue, he stressed to Trump that Moscow does not intend to wait for Ukraine’s war to end and will soon attempt actions in other regions.
They discussed potential methods of destabilization, including cyberattacks and the use of drones in European countries such as Denmark, Norway, Romania, and Poland.
Zelensky explained that Russia employs various types of long-range drones to test Europe’s military readiness and demonstrate its capabilities.Overall, Zelensky expressed confidence that Ukraine, along with its allies, is prepared for any scenarios and assured that European countries are ready to oppose external threats.
He also emphasized that Ukraine will continue to inform the world about the real situation and work to strengthen regional stability and defense.
