Recently, Russia has continued to refine its tactics and methods of conducting aggressive actions within the European space, publicly demonstrating its ability to violate the airspace of NATO member countries and other European nations.

The latest example is the incident in Copenhagen on September 22, when unidentified drones were again detected in the airspace of the Danish capital.

This has caused widespread concern among the international community and personally from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who made a stern statement during his visit to New York regarding these provocations.Zelensky emphasized that such behavior from Russia is an attempt to exert psychological pressure on European countries and NATO by testing their readiness to respond.

The President specified that without decisive actions from allies and international institutions like NATO, Russia will continue its provocations and escalate violence, aiming to intensify its aggression against Ukraine and the entire European region.Furthermore, during his diplomatic activities, Zelensky discussed these issues during a meeting with Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the IMF, who expressed her support for Ukraine and pledged assistance in strengthening the country’s economy.

The President highlighted that Ukraine is doing everything possible to end the war as quickly as possible, but Russia shows no signs of wanting peace negotiations.

Therefore, Ukraine needs continuous financial support and aid from international partners.Several important cooperation directions were discussed, including the possibility of implementing a new extended funding program to help Ukraine overcome the consequences of the war and strengthen its defenses.

Special attention was given to the use of frozen Russian assets to finance economic reforms, bolster defense capabilities, and support citizens during these difficult times.Overall, the situation is worsening with increased Russian provocations in Europe.

For example, Denmark recently announced a complete shutdown of its largest airport — Copenhagen Airport — due to reports of drones in its airspace, which increased tensions and caused concern among government bodies and citizens.

These events underscore the need to enhance European security and joint efforts to counter Russian aggression.
