On September 23, Ukraine faced a series of powerful missile and drone strikes targeting its southern and eastern regions.

Russian forces launched these attacks, resulting in at least three deaths and injuring six others.

Residential buildings, commercial outlets, critical infrastructure, and government institutions suffered damage.

According to regional officials — Serhii Lysak of Dnipropetrovsk and Ivan Fedorov of Zaporizhzhia — a tragic incident involved the death of a 70-year-old woman in Nikopol, killed by a drone strike, while another local resident sustained shrapnel injuries and is currently receiving outpatient treatment.

On the Odesa region, five market stalls were burned, and multiple buildings, including a hotel, a postal office, telecom facilities, and a citizen service center, were damaged.

Several vehicles and infrastructure facilities also suffered destruction.

In Zaporizhzhia, the region experienced about five attacks, damaging warehouses and transportation.

One individual, a 43-year-old man, remains in critical condition, with two others sustaining injuries of moderate severity.

These attacks underscore the ongoing threat to civilians and the urgent need for enhanced security measures in Ukraine’s conflict zones.
