Why the ‘Wanted’ Status Appears in the ‘Reserve+’ App During Military Mobilization

In times when Ukraine is undergoing a large-scale military mobilization and a state of martial law is in effect, understanding the nuances of military registration and obligations becomes crucial.
Amid challenging circumstances, Ukrainian military personnel and responsible authorities periodically encounter situations where the ‘wanted’ status appears in mobile applications.
This phenomenon raises questions about its causes and the necessary steps to avoid misunderstandings.
Ihor Muntianu, a lawyer from the Actum law firm, explained that such notifications can appear due to various reasons: updates in the registries of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TCK and SP), technical glitches, or discrepancies between records regarding an individual’s status in different databases.
He noted that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also has access to these registers and can update information, sometimes leading to inconsistencies and system errors.
Such occurrences are quite common and require verification and clarification through local TCKs.
Previously, attorneys from Bachynskyi & Partners law firm clarified when a postal mobilization notice is considered officially delivered.
Even in cases of technical issues or database discrepancies, it is vital for individuals and officials to be aware of their rights and responsibilities during wartime.
