The international community is increasingly alarmed by the rising tensions in the European region, driven by Russian activities.

On Monday, during a Security Council session, U.S.

Permanent Representative to the UN Michael Woltz issued a stern warning, cautioning about potential NATO responses to Russia’s escalating provocations.

He pointed out that last week, Russia violated Baltic airspace once again, conducting an incident involving Russian aircraft over Estonia, threatening regional security.

Woltz emphasized that the US and its allies remain resolutely committed to defending every inch of NATO territory and to stopping Moscow’s actions promptly.

The American diplomat highlighted that the Biden administration is actively working to prevent a full-scale war and called for Russia to comply with international law, respect sovereignty, and cease provocations.

He expressed confidence that Moscow must initiate genuine de-escalation and refrain from further provocations, as these actions risk deepening a global crisis and spreading conflict.

Supporting the diplomat’s statements, other nations called for maintaining peace and security, urging Russia to return to diplomatic dialogue with Ukraine.

Poland noted that airspace violations are not accidental but part of a hybrid warfare campaign aimed against the West, requiring a response at the highest levels.
