On the morning of September 22nd, Russian forces launched a missile strike on civilian infrastructure objects in the regional center of Zaporizhzhia.

According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the aggressor’s troops targeted civilian and industrial infrastructure, leading to extensive destruction.

Several vehicles were destroyed and damaged, and large-scale fires broke out within the city limits.

Fedorov confirmed that a total of five strikes were carried out on Zaporizhzhia.

The situation has caused significant alarm among local residents, some of whom were left without electricity and water in certain districts.

This attack is yet another episode of ongoing aggression, highlighting the constant danger faced by peaceful communities in the region and fitting into Russia’s broader strategy of destroying government and civilian facilities across Ukraine.

Meanwhile, on the evening of September 21st, air raid alerts were issued across Kyiv and other regions due to a massive drone attack by Russian forces.

Anti-aircraft defenses actively engaged targets, but some managed to penetrate Ukrainian airspace.

As a result, residential buildings were damaged, fires erupted, and industrial facilities were affected in several districts of Kyiv and Sumy.

Specifically, in Sumy, late on September 22nd, three drone strikes caused fires in the Kovpakskiy district, damaging industrial enterprises and an educational institution.

One person was wounded and is currently receiving medical assistance.

These series of attacks underscore the heightened tensions and ongoing risks for Ukrainian civilians and critical infrastructure amid the conflict escalation.
