Russian Forces Face Heavy Losses: Over 90 Attacks on Frontlines in a Single Day and Ongoing Combat Dynamics
According to the latest reports from the Ukrainian General Staff, the situation on the frontlines remains tense and challenging for Russian occupying forces.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have recorded more than 156 combat engagements across various sectors of the front, with the most intense fighting reported on the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 49 times.
Additionally, intense hostilities were noted on the Lyman and Novopavlivka sectors, with enemy assaults launched 41 times.
Sources confirm that Ukrainian military personnel successfully repelled six attacks in the North-Slobohaiv and Kursk sectors, while also destroying 14 aerial strikes using 34 guided bombs and conducting 165 artillery attacks, including 11 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The southern front remained equally volatile: the enemy tried to break through defenses in areas around Vovchansk, Tikhyi, Zavadne, and Odriadne, making 13 attempts.
On the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks, three of which targeted Stepoe Novoselivka, Nova Kругляківка, and Kupiansk itself.
Other sectors saw continued assaults: 21 attacks on the Lyman front aimed at penetrating our lines near Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Shandrigolove, Kolodii and Torske settlements.
In the Siymersk area, the enemy made three attempts to advance near Serebrianka, Vyimka, and Yampol, while in Kramatorsk, three assaults took place near Stupochki and Novomarkove.
On the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched 11 attacks around Pleshiiivka, Rusinyi Yar, Poltavka, and Toretsk.
Ukrainian forces intercepted 49 enemy assault attempts on the Pokrovsk sector in towns like Pankivka, Nikanorivka, Novoeconomichne, Chervonyi Lyman, Promin, Chunișne, Zvirove, Udachne, Kotelne, and Dachne.
Furthermore, on the Novopavlivka front, 20 enemy attacks were repelled near Filia, Zelynyi Hai, Piddubne, Maliivka, Sichneve, Kміshuvakha, Vorona, Novomykolaivka, and Zaporizke.
On the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian defenders bested four enemy attempts near Olegivske and towards Poltavka.
At Orikhiv, six enemy attacks targeted positions around Kamyanske, Mala Tokmachka, and Novodanilivka.
Meanwhile, in the Dnipro region, no active offensive operations were recorded, and no signs of enemy offensive formations are currently observed in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.
Ukrainian armed forces continue their active efforts to inflict losses on the occupiers in manpower and equipment, simultaneously undermining their offensive capabilities deep in the enemy’s rear, which significantly hampers their further military advance.
