Russian Drones Strike Kyiv Region Again: Damage and Human Casualties Reported

On the night of September 22, the Kyiv region was again shaken by large-scale air strikes carried out by Russian drones, resulting in significant destruction across several settlements and raising concerns about the safety of local residents.
According to the regional military administration, the enemy managed to launch multiple unmanned aerial vehicles that targeted civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
These attacks caused minor injuries to one individual, who sustained shrapnel wounds to the shoulder while assisting in Boryspil district.
The injured person received medical aid on site, and hospitalization was not required.Authorities recorded the aftermath of the attack in four districts: Vyshhorod, Fастів, Obukhiv, and Boryspil.
In Vyshhorod district, a forest mulch fire broke out; in Fastiv, a private house was burned down; and in Obukhiv, fragments of a downed Russian drone fell on an unfinished multi-storey building.
In Boryspil, a fire broke out in two private homes, damaging several vehicles and neighboring residential buildings.
Emergency services and law enforcement are working at the scene to mitigate damage and prevent further disruptions.These aerial assaults further demonstrate Russia’s ongoing targeted strategy to destabilize the region and destroy critical infrastructure amid Ukraine’s gradual recovery.
Additionally, recent reports indicate renewed shelling in several regions, including Sumy, underscoring the tense security situation and the urgent need for enhanced defense measures and international support for Ukraine.
