On the late evening of September 22, Ukrainian ports—Odesa and Mykolaiv—suddenly found themselves at the center of heightened tension following reports of a ballistic threat potentially targeting both cities.

Odesa’s mayor, Gennady Trukhanov, issued a call to residents to stay in shelters, as loud explosions were recorded, further fueling anxiety among the population.

According to him, the situation requires everyone to be extremely cautious and not leave protected areas in case of alarms.

Simultaneously, in Mykolaiv, during the air raid, explosions were also heard.

Mayor Oleksandr Sienkievich confirmed the reports of explosions in the air and urged residents to remain vigilant.

It is known that throughout the day, warnings of ballistic threats were announced three times, indicating increasing regional tension.

Recall that on the night of September 7, Russian forces launched a drone attack on Odesa, resulting in injuries to three civilians.

These events highlight the growing aggression and ongoing threats facing Ukrainian cities amid ongoing hostilities.
