Once again, Crimea has been rocked by powerful explosions, sparking widespread discussions and speculations over motives and targets.

The incident occurred near the renowned ‘Foros’ sanatorium located along the southern coast of the peninsula.

Multiple sources report the use of drones targeting an object linked with Russian intelligence agencies.

According to the Telegram channel ‘Crimean Wind,’ the explosions happened around 7:30 PM on Sunday in the vicinity of the sanatorium.

Sources suggest that high-ranking officials or key guests, possibly protected by security measures, may have been present at the site during the attack.

It was also reported that on the day of the attack, the sanatorium’s restaurant FOROS HALL was closed for special maintenance.

The interim head of Crimea, Russian official Sergey Aksyonov, stated that 15 individuals were injured in the drone strike, with possible casualties whose numbers are still being clarified.

He added that debris from the downed drone caused a grass fire near Yalta.

Additionally, TASS reported that the attack damaged an assembly hall at the sanatorium and a school library in the nearby village of Foros, a location associated with the FSB, Russia’s Federal Security Service.

This incident underscores the ongoing instability in the region and highlights the strategic significance of the targeted sites, especially considering Putin’s past visits to the sanatorium.

Overall, the event exemplifies the heightened tensions and unpredictable dynamics in the area, revealing the growing challenges faced by Russian authorities in maintaining control and security in Crimea.
