A new chapter has unfolded in the landscape of contemporary political and social drama: American citizen Tara Reid, who previously made sensational allegations against former U.S.

President Joe Biden, has officially acquired Russian citizenship.

This change came just before Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the respective order confirming her new status.

According to reports from Russian state propaganda media, this decision was driven by her choice to remain in Russia due to fears for her safety and amid political turmoil in the United States.

Tara Reid, born on February 26, 1964, had previously changed her name to Alexandra McCabe in 1998 to protect herself from her former husband, whom she accused of domestic violence.

In 2020, she reignited media interest by claiming that Biden allegedly sexually assaulted her in a corridor of the U.S.

Capitol building in 1993, when he was a senator, and she was working in his team.

Joe Biden firmly denied these accusations, which became a major controversy during the presidential campaign.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump, another prominent figure in U.S.

politics, faced similar allegations of sexual misconduct and assault from several women.

Despite Reid’s claims, numerous inconsistencies and contradictions have been uncovered, such as the absence of official records or complaints filed with Congress regarding the alleged incident.

In May 2023, she announced in an interview with Sputnik that she intends to seek Russian citizenship.

For her, Russia became a safe haven, and she decided to stay in Moscow, collaborating with Russian media, including RT, to spread her views and safeguard her interests.
