Zelensky Prepares a Week of Diplomatic Moves That Could Shift Global Dynamics

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the upcoming preparation for a critically important week, dubbed ‘Diplomacy Week,’ set to become a pivotal period in international efforts to support Ukraine and counter Russian aggression.

According to Zelensky, the main goal is to rally the global community towards decisive actions and to strengthen sanctions against Russia, pressing the aggressor to cease the war and return kidnapped Ukrainian children.During this week, numerous meetings are scheduled at the United Nations General Assembly, with nearly twenty engagements already planned with world leaders from both longstanding allies and new partners.

The initial meetings will take place as early as tomorrow, including a high-level discussion with the U.S.

president and a global summit dedicated to the return of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia.Zelensky emphasized the importance of collective resolve, stating that peace cannot be maintained without strength: ‘We are counting on the rapid approval of the EU’s 19th sanctions package against Russia and increased actions from the United States.

Putin needs to realize that the international community will not stand idly by, and that strong steps are necessary to protect Ukraine.’ He also expressed confidence that this week will further bolster Ukraine’s diplomatic positions and military resilience.This declaration follows confirmation that Zelensky will meet with U.S.

President Donald Trump during the UN General Assembly in New York, scheduled for September 21-24, highlighting the diplomatic significance of these events.
